For interior use only, if light surface corrosion does appear this can be removed with a wipe from a lightly oiled cloth, a wire brush or some wire wool.
Cast iron is susceptible to rusting when exposed to moisture. If your product is going to be exposed to moisture then we recommend that a finish is applied, painting, lacquering or oiling will offer a level of protection.
